Her grandchildren called Mary Alice Raby "Ma". She lived in Pineville, LA. She loved to read. She would stay up with her grandchildren reading and giggling until two o’clock in the morning when they spent time together. 

Ma called Viola Shows Pansy because she said her eyes were the color of a rich, brown pansy flower!
