The National Genealogical Society Conference in May drew me away from home. I met some old friends, and made some new ones. I then traveled to Laurel, MD and visited with my sister in a long over due visit. While I was there I visited the National Archives College Park and Washington, D. C. locations. I looked for specific land records to see if any additional information was available on my Klabzuba research.

July brought the First Cousin Chambers Reunion for the second year.

My Salt Lake City research trip with the Dallas Genealogical Society was in October. This year I made many wonderful finds. Many were in land records, some in probate. I found records on microfilm and in books for Randolph Co, IN, Washington Co, AR, and St. Helena Parish, LA. If you think that is pretty spread out, I also found records for cousins in Oregon.
